Performance tuning on Cockroach Continuum is similar to CockroachDB performance tuning. Statement and index optimization, schema design, and multi-region data placement apply to every cluster. Cockroach Aegis supports proactive tuning through recurring check-ins and recommendations, and reactive troubleshooting through alerts and investigations. Use Ask Aegis in the web UI to explore cluster behavior alongside its analysis, or connect your own agents through Aegis MCP.
